Agatha Raisin has gone grape over George, the village gardener. Unfortunately for the semi-retired detective, so has every other woman in the Cotswold village—including glamorous soap star Jessica Fordyce, who’s just moved to town. Sadly, when George misses the town dance, Agatha discovers that no one can have him—he’s been murdered. It’s not your garden-variety murder, either: he was found in a plastic bag along with three venomous snakes.
Not surprisingly, Agatha attacks the case with more than her usual enthusiasm. Working from one sliver of a clue—George had once asked Agatha how one might recognize a psychopath—Agatha investigates each of her erstwhile romantic rivals. And she won’t let the guilty party slither away!

Again MC Beaton keeps the reader quessing right up to the end. Poor Agatha just cannot get her private life "just right" but she sure is a great book character. Highly recommend this book!
