David Rosenfelt’s new canine caper will make you want to sit, stay…and read!
Andy Carpenter isn’t called “Lawyer to the Dogs” for nothing. Besides going to court to improve conditions at his local animal shelter, he also runs a dog-rescue operation. He doesn’t need the money; with his inherited wealth, he doesn’t need to work at all. And now Andy’s famed affection for dogs has landed him a client and a mess of trouble.
A drug titan has been murdered, and Andy must represent his prized show dog, Waggy, a Bernese puppy, in the custody battle. Waggy possesses a secret someone would kill to obtain, and when Andy realizes that his own dog, Tara, and his girlfriend, Laurie, are in danger, he must learn some new tricks to save their hides.

Good mystery written with just enough humor to make an a most enjoyable read.
I have found a new favorite writer.
I am now on the third book from his Andy Carpenter Series. This one is a mystery right up to the last few pages.
All the way thru you think you know who did it and it is constantly changing.
His humor is just that extra touch that won't let you put it down.
This is the first book by this author that I have read. I enjoyed it but will withhold opinion until I have read another book by him.
When you read the line "I have hemorrhoids the size of a basketball, every time I sit down I tip over", you want to read every word so you dont miss anything. The humor along with great characters and an even greater plot have me hooked. Keep it up and I will forever be a devoted fan and buyer forever!
Another good read by David Rosenfelt. I've read all of his books, & haven't been disappointed yet.
