With her daughter about to start college and her architectural salvage business slowing down due to the recession, Roxy Abruzzo has cashflow problems. She's not above taking the occasional strong-arm job—and a small percentage—from her uncle Carmine, one of the last old-time mob bosses in Pittsburgh. But when she’s asked to kidnap a woman for ransom, that’s another story. Now we’re talking felony, and someone might get hurt.
Yet, being who she is, Roxy can't help snooping a little, just to see who else might take the job. Wouldn’t you know the intended victim gets killed…and you-know-who winds up Suspect #1?
Peppered with oddball characters and witty one-liners, Sticky Fingers by Nancy Martin is funny, frantic and flat-out fabulous!

I quite enjoyed this book. The author has a talent for the felicitous phrase that kept me grinning throughout; and a couple of passages to which I kept going back, for another giggle. I will keep an eye out for Ms. Martin's other books.
Roxy has found she can do without sex, sorta, kinda, while she tries to help her non-friend from getting hit. Hilarity ensues. Not quite as nutty as her first book but still a lot of fun. One of the few Evanovich copy cats that stands out. A good, quick read.
You will love this character. Roxy doesn't take anything easy. She's a fighter and a lover. All of Nancy's books are a fun read. You just can't put them down!! This is just another good one~!!
