Though it didn't hold me captive the way most of JP's books do, it was good once I got around to finishing it. good for someone who doesn't like to sit down and finish it in a day, but would make an excellent movie if Hollywood could get someone to write it.

It took a little while for me to finish reading this one. I'm not sure why. The plot was good but I couldn't make my self read it some days.

I read this book awhile ago but just got to writing this review. I know this was one of his older books but I like the characters. I hope sometime in the future he returns to them. I like it better when he doesn't have a co-writer. Also, I'm not crazy about the 2 page chapters.

This was my first JP book and is still one of my favorites! I wish he would write another story featuring Stef. I own so many Patterson books, and I LOVE Alex Cross and the Lindsay Boxer books are wonderful. BUT, Stef is just such a wonderful character and the story had me holding my breath sometimes. If you like suspense books, you will enjoy this one!
