In Killer Summer, Ridley Pearson takes us back to the high-stakes world of the wealthy and connected—just in time for Sun Valley’s Annual Wine Auction. Connoisseurs from across the country are in town to bid on the world’s best wines, including three bottles said to have been a gift from Thomas Jefferson to John Adams. And Sheriff Walt Fleming is responsible for ensuring the event goes off without a hitch.
With priceless items like these on the table, it’s no wonder a group of thieves is out to steal them. When a bomb explodes just as the auction revs up, Walt is thrown headlong into the fray, investigating not just the explosion, but an even bigger heist planned by a criminal mastermind who will stop at nothing to gain his prize.

This was my 1st novel in the Killer series and I liked it very much. Sheriff Walt is a great character and the novel takes many detours along the way. A very quick read and I look forward to the next one.
