Evidence

No one does edge-of-the-seat psychological suspense like #1 New York Times bestselling author Jonathan Kellerman. In his most relentlessly thrilling novel yet, a sex related murder has Alex Delaware seeking entry into a killer’s dangerously twisted mind.

An unsuspecting night watchman gets the shock of his life when, within an opulent, newly erected mansion in one of L.A.’s most exclusive neighborhoods, he comes upon the corpses of two unlucky lovers. That they were murdered “in the act” is obvious to LAPD detective Milo Sturgis, who rules it a brutal crime of passion. For the psychological implications, he turns to longtime friend Dr. Alex Delaware for advice. But even with their combined expertise, the two pros find one baffling obstacle after another, starting with the fact that one of the murdered lovers was stripped of identification. That’s when they decide to follow the money—and it pays off big time as Delaware and Sturgis find themselves on a trail that’s suddenly turned red hot. How they uncover a monstrous scheme rooted in deception and depravity is what makes Evidence a rip-roaring thrill ride to the dark side of human nature. Make sure to buckle up.

Disappointed

I'm always on watch for a new Alex Delaware novel, but I was quite disappointed in this book. It was a slow read that took me awhile to get through. Sorry to say, I'm in no hurry for the next one.

Slow

I usually love this series but this one is taking me a while to get through. It is not keeping my interest piqued like the rest. Hopefully this is just a bump in the road and the rest of the series will be as riveting as the ones before.

I am a long time J. Kellerman and Alex D fan but this was like amybe he got help from Faye who does not hold my interest at all. I was like walking through sludge to read and can not beleive this was written by the author I love.

Not a good read
March 15, 2010

Wasn't really a good story from Kellelrman. All of his other Alex Delaware novels were very good with the storyline. This one didn't hold my interest at all. I couldn't wait to finish it , not that it was good, but rather just to get it done. It was boring, long, tedious with little action and too much dialogue. I wouldn't recommend spendning your money on this one.
