In John Lescroart’s Treasure Hunt, Wyatt Hunt’s protégé, Mickey Dade, is having a tough week. His anorexic sister, Tamara, has withdrawn in a funk. Their elderly grandfather, Jim, is drinking too much. For lack of jobs, Wyatt has decided to close the Hunt Club, the private investigations firm where Mickey works part-time. And then Mickey finds the body of prominent civic activist Dominic Como half-submerged in a lagoon.
But things are looking up. Como’s young business associate, Alicia Thorpe—a person of interest in his murder—needs their services. As Wyatt and Mickey start digging, they learn the fund-raiser may have had some shady dealings. Alicia may know more than she’s telling…and whatever it is could endanger Mickey's family.

Although TREASURE HUNT doesn't feature Dismas Hardy, my favorite character, this is a solid addition to John Lescroart's titles. I'd met Wyatt Hunt in previous novels and enjoyed getting to know him better in this one.

This is my first Lescroart novel and I thought the story had alot of good twists. Kept me interested to the end! I will definitely read more of his books.

Have read all of Lescroart's works, and this was a good read but definitely not one of his best. Like his writing better when his Dismas Hardy character plays a more prominent role

Good read from start to finish
