All hell breaks loose in Allison Brennan’s Original Sin as Moira O’Donnell races to stop a sorceress from summoning the apocalypse.
Moira’s mother is a witch, a sorceress of incredible power whose command of black magic has given her unprecedented control of the underworld. Now, driven by her thirst for power and her dreams of eternal youth, she’s about to do the unthinkable, and unleash the living incarnations of the Seven Deadly Sins on the mortal realm.
Joining Moira on her mission to stop her mother is Rafe Cooper, an ex-seminarian driven by powers he can’t explain. United in their quest—and by a mutual attraction impossible to ignore—can they find a way to stop Fiona and snatch salvation from the howling jaws of damnation?

I like when authors take us along as they write about something they have been thinking about for awhile. The background was fabulous, the characters very strong, it takes alot of what we have all wondered about and tied them together in very iteresting ways. Can't wait for the next...I totally give this an A++, I'll buy the next, love the characters, do not like Fionna! You Go Allison, I Love strong women taking on strong women.

I have read Allison Brennan trilogy "FBI" series. I really enjoyed the series. This new book is a part of the first book in the 7 Deadly Sins series.
If you are reading paranormal romance, this new book is right on the spot.
Brennan's use of magic is what drew me into her world. There are religious themes but for me they are needed in order to tell the story.

I love this author and have read all her books.
This book was good and caught my attention after a couple of chapters. I'm looking forward to the rest of the series.

I kept thinking I've missed a prequel in reading this and maybe I did, though I thought I was up to speed on her books. Not anywhere near as good as her previous writing. I knew this was going to be a departure and I'll give the next book in line a chance, but so far I must say I'm disappointed.
