Don't waste your time or money on this. I am starting to wonder if Mr. Woods ever has Stone working for money? He inherits property from a cousin, marries Arington for a short time, then inherits loads when she is murdered, the son is the most brilliant person at sixteen, selling his amateur movie film for twenty million. NO grief for either of them for Arington. Then in the preview for Unnatural Act at the end of the story, he is back in bed with Holly? Come on!

Boring!

I have read a number of the books in this series and found this one very boring and unbelievable. The more I read the more I began to dislike the main characters. There was no suspense and some of the plots lines were not developed or completed - can't go into further detail for those who haven't read this book. If I hadn't been on a train trip with nothing else to read I would have stopped reading this book.

Was very disappointed in this book. I have read a number of Stuart Woods' books but this one is like a current female writer who cranks out a number of books each year by repeating, repeating, repeating. I'm almost half way through and think I will put it down. Unreal that a phone call can take care of everything and to have a son who is so wonderful that everything falls into his lap. This should be called a "fairy tale". Please, Mr. Woods, get back to your excellent mysteries and leave the dribble to the female writer.

Don't waste your money on this one

If I could give this book a minus 1 I would. The son is unbelivable, everyone is perfect, except for the killer who doesn't even show up until 3/4 of the way through the book. This is not a mystery - it's a bore of a book. Woods should stop churning them out and start putting quality writing into his books, although that might be impossible for him because I haven't seen it yet in any of his previous books
