In the capable hands of New York Times bestselling author Eric van Lustbader, counterespionage agent Jason Bourne has battled spies, terror plots and even his best friend. Now, in Robert Ludlum’s™ The Bourne Imperative, he faces his most fearsome enemy yet!
Jason Bourne has one thing in common with the mysterious wounded man he helped fish out of a frozen lake: amnesia. The stranger doesn’t know who he is, but rogue Mossad agent Rebeka thinks he’s a brutal jihadist. Before Bourne can learn the truth, the amnesiac is whisked away by the security team of the Core Energy corporation.
Meanwhile, Peter Marks and Soraya Moore have dragged their injured bodies back to work at the Treadstone intelligence operation. They find themselves saddled with a new operative, software savant Dick Richards, who has ties to the president—and murky connections to Core Energy.
While Peter and Soraya follow Richards to the door of billionaire nuclear energy magnate Tom Brick, Bourne and Rebeka desperately track down clues to the amnesiac’s identity and mission. But the vicious assassin known only as the Babylonian is already on their trail. Can Bourne survive long enough to thwart a global catastrophe?

I thought the story was really good, lots of twists and turns, spies and double agents, keeps you on your toes throughout. My only reason for giving 4 stars - I know these books are targeted toward men but women enjoy reading them as well. It would be nice to incorporate some more emotions into the book where it would be appropriate.
