First time that I read one of her books. I thought it was very interesting and had many different plots. it was a book where you just had to keep reading to find out what was going to happen next. It held my interest to the very end. Will read more of her books in the future.

I have read nearly all of Lisa Scottoline's books and she is one of my favorite authors. This book was not one of her best. I felt there was too much meaningless dialogue and not enough action.

This Scottoline book was enjoyable as are all her others. But, this one lacked the punch and almost constant suspense of her previous novels. Too much time was spent on the ramifications of her relationships with her stepchildren and not enough on the real meat of the story. I felt that Abby's character read like she was ten years old and she was treated as though she were ten. Too much character time was spent in personal situations. The true meaning of the twists in the story was way too long in coming and, I think, a tad melodramatic. I also think the ending was rushed.

Enjoyed this book, read it in a short amount of time. Several different plots going at the same time. Returning to the library quickly for others to enjoy as I have.
