Eighteen years ago a massive tornado wiped away the evidence at the murder scene of eighteen-year-old Susan Lyston. It also left her younger sister Bellamy with a fear of storms and a gap in her memory that persists to this day. But Bellamy hasn’t forgotten her family’s heartache and to deflect unwanted publicity, she’s written her “novel” about Susan’s murder under a pseudonym. When a tabloid discovers the book is based on fact, a new nightmare begins….
Sandra Brown ratchets up the tension in Low Pressure as Bellamy becomes the target of an unnamed assailant. Is it the killer? Dent Carter, Susan’s long-ago boyfriend and one-time suspect, jumps at the chance to help her get the true culprit and finally put to rest the stain on his reputation. But as Bellamy’s partial memories begin to take shape they only pose more confusion. What’s more, she is conflicted over her growing feelings for Dent. And the discovery of disturbing elements of the crime throws into question the people she cares about most in the world—her family. Regardless of what happens, Bellamy won’t stop until her sister’s death is avenged. And that leaves the killer with only one choice….

I don't understand the low ratings. Low Pressure was fast paced,a real page turner. Lot's of twists in the plot and many different characters. Just a fun exciting read. Can't wait for Sandra's next novel.

Add me to the list of Sandra Brown fans. Her books start out with captivating action from the very first page and this one follows right along with that pattern. I was also surprised at the end, which is an endorsement to Sandra Brown and how she writes a story that isn't predictable and keeps you wondering and guessing.
I am a huge Sandra Brown fan and once again I was not disappointed!
I've enjoyed all her books including this one.
